Hearth & Hammer

Website privacy notice

Effective date: October 22, 2026

About this notice

This notice describes how Hearth & Hammer, LLC handles information through hearthandhammer.ai, including our contact forms and Lightforge website features. Our mobile apps have separate privacy policies linked below.

You can browse the public website without submitting a form or signing in. The website still uses hosting, analytics, and third-party resources described here.

When you contact us or apply

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, project type, and message. You can also provide your company, budget, and timeline. The Brand Clarity Session form asks for your name, email, company, and the problem you want help with, and includes the selected service in your inquiry.

The project questionnaire asks for your name, email, business or craft, what you are building, what feels unclear, revenue stage, and why you are reaching out now. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in these open text fields.

We use these details to receive and respond to inquiries and discuss potential work. Our forms send the inquiry to our inbox and a confirmation to your email through Resend, our email delivery provider. The form endpoints also use your IP address to limit repeated submissions.

Website hosting and analytics

Vercel hosts the website and processes the connection and request information needed to deliver pages, such as IP addresses and requested URLs.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand website use. The site also records a booking-button click event with the button placement, such as the navigation or home page. This helps us compare where booking interest comes from. These events do not include the contents of our inquiry forms.

Booking a call

Booking buttons open Calendly, where you can arrange a call. The link includes the website campaign and button placement. Information you enter on Calendly is handled through that service under its own privacy notice.

Lightforge and Patreon sign-in

If you choose to connect Patreon, we request your Patreon identity, email address, and membership information to recognize you and determine access to Lightforge content.

This can include your Patreon ID, name, email and profile image, membership tier and status, membership start date, and current and lifetime support amounts. We keep the sign-in information in an encrypted authentication cookie. We also use Airtable to maintain patron records containing your ID, name, email, membership status and tier, and welcome-email history. We use Resend to send welcome or tier-upgrade emails when those events apply.

Patreon handles its own accounts, memberships, and payments. Connecting Patreon does not give this website your payment card details.

Cookies and reader storage

Patreon sign-in uses an authentication cookie named hh_session, configured to last up to 30 days. Signing out clears the website session cookie. This does not delete records held in Airtable or email systems.

The Lightforge reader can store reading progress and content-warning acknowledgements in your browser so you can resume reading and avoid repeating an acknowledgement. You can remove these saved items through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or clearing browser storage can affect sign-in and saved reader preferences.

Fonts, media, and external services

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request the font resources, which exposes connection information such as your IP address to that service.

Lightforge bonus pages can include YouTube or Vimeo video players when that content is available. Loading an embedded player connects your browser to the video provider, which may receive information about your visit and use its own cookies or similar technologies. Its practices can include recognizing activity across websites.

Other links, including music, portfolio, and membership links, take you to external services. Their own privacy notices apply when you visit them. The provider links below explain their practices.

How information is retained

Contact and application submissions become email correspondence in our inbox. Lightforge patron details are stored in Airtable. We do not currently have a fixed-period deletion schedule for this correspondence or these patron records. Signing out does not delete those records.

Our service providers also retain information under their own policies, including logs, backups, or recovery copies. The authentication cookie duration described above is not a retention limit for email, patron records, or provider logs.

Do Not Track and third-party collection

Our website code does not change how it operates in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Third-party services may apply their own privacy controls.

Google Fonts and embedded video providers may receive information when your browser connects to them. Embedded video providers may recognize activity across websites, as described in their privacy notices. Browser privacy settings do not necessarily stop the connections needed to deliver these resources.

Questions about your information

You can email support@hearthandhammer.ai to ask to review, correct, or delete information you provided through the website. Please identify the form or service involved and avoid sending passwords or payment details. We may need information to verify that the request concerns you. We will review the request and explain what we can do, including any information we need to retain.

Requests concerning your Patreon or Calendly account should also be directed to that provider. Deleting a Lightforge patron record does not close your Patreon account. Connecting Patreon again can create a new website patron record.

Changes to this notice

When we materially change this notice, we will post a notice on this website describing the change and update the effective date. Earlier versions will remain available on request.
