Privacy Policy

Overview

Delve: Endless Dungeon ("Delve," "the App") is a mobile dungeon crawler developed by Hearth & Hammer, LLC, operating under the Forgebound Labs game studio label. We want you to know exactly what happens with your data, so this page spells it out in plain language.

The Short Version

• Your game lives on your device. We don't run servers that store your progress, and we don't collect your name, email, or contacts.
• The App shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob, and uses Google's Firebase for remote settings and anonymous gameplay analytics.
• The App never asks to track you across other apps, and buying Remove Ads turns ads off.

Data We Collect

Delve doesn't ask for an account and doesn't collect your name, email address, or phone number. Your run history, lifetime stats, achievements, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage, and your purchase status is stored there too.

The App does use a few third-party services, described below. Those services receive limited data to do their jobs.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob. Shows optional rewarded ads (revive, bonus gold, and event reroll). AdMob may collect device identifiers (but not your advertising identifier, because the App never asks to track you), your IP address (used to estimate your general location), ad interactions, and crash and performance diagnostics. Google uses this data to show and measure ads and for analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• Firebase Remote Config (Google). Lets us adjust app settings without an update, such as the minimum supported version and gameplay tuning values. It receives your device's country, language, time zone, operating system version, and app details, along with a Firebase installation ID: a random identifier for this copy of the App that isn't tied to your name or Apple ID. • Google Analytics for Firebase. Records anonymous gameplay events so we can see how the game is played: when a run starts and ends, how deep it went, choices made at events, items equipped, and deaths. Firebase also records standard app events (such as app opens) and device details (model, operating system version, app version, and general location from your IP address). This data is tied to the random installation ID above, not to you. See Firebase's privacy information.
• Apple StoreKit. Processes the Remove Ads purchase. Transactions are handled entirely by Apple, and we never see your payment information.

Tracking and Your Choices

• No tracking prompt. The App doesn't ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so your device's advertising identifier isn't shared with AdMob. You'll still see ads, just not ones personalized by cross-app tracking.
• Remove Ads. Buying Remove Ads stops the App from loading or showing ads, and the ad-powered extras are no longer offered. The ad service still starts with the App, but no ads are requested.

In-App Purchases

Delve offers a one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. When purchased, ads are no longer shown. This purchase is processed and managed by Apple. We don't collect or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy

Delve is a general-audience game and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App doesn't require an account and has no chat or social features. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service in the App, please contact us.

Data Retention

We don't hold personal data, so there's nothing for us to retain. Game progress stored on your device is removed when you delete the App. Analytics and ad data received by Google is retained under Google's own policies, linked above, and isn't something we can trace back to you.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, or object to the use of your personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. Because we don't store personal data ourselves, the fastest controls are the ones on your device: the Tracking setting, deleting the App, and Google's own privacy tools. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
