Privacy Policy

Release scope. These updated advertising controls describe the replacement Sparkforge v2.2 consent-repair build being prepared for App Review. Older installed builds may not include all of these controls.

Overview

Sparkforge: Arena Clicker ("Sparkforge," "the App") is a mobile arena clicker game developed by Hearth & Hammer, LLC, operating under the Forgebound Labs game studio label. We want you to know exactly what happens with your data, so this page spells it out in plain language.

The Short Version

• The App stores game progress and run history on your device, and you do not need an account to play.
• The App shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Google collects some device and ad data to show and measure those ads.
• You're in control. You choose whether to allow tracking, and buying Remove Ads turns ads off.

Data We Collect

The App stores your game progress, unlocks, settings, purchase-entitlement records and run statistics locally on your device. It does not require a player account or upload that local game history to a studio-operated game backend.

Google's advertising and consent services and Apple StoreKit receive information to provide their services, as described below. If you choose to email us, we receive the information you include in your message and your contact details so we can respond.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob. Shows optional rewarded ads (revive, reroll, XP boost, and extra picks). AdMob may collect device identifiers, your IP address (used to estimate your general location), ad interactions, and crash, performance and other diagnostic information. Access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) requires your tracking permission. Google uses data for advertising and analytics. • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Determines which regional privacy messages apply and requests and records your privacy choices. UMP communicates with Google and stores your choices on your device. Regional privacy choices are separate from Apple's tracking permission. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit. Processes in-app purchases. Transactions are handled entirely by Apple, and we never see your payment information.

Tracking and Your Choices

• Regional privacy choices. Depending on your region, Google presents a European consent message or provides US-state opt-out choices. When available, open the gear icon → Settings → Privacy Choices to review or change your choices, including withdrawing consent or opting out of the sale or sharing of your data. This entry is also available in pause Settings.
• Tracking permission. For users without Remove Ads, applicable regional privacy choices are handled before the App requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. The request appears only when ads are eligible, your tracking permission has not already been determined and iOS permits the request. The App waits for the applicable privacy choices and tracking status before starting Google Mobile Ads or loading ads. Apple remembers your tracking decision; you can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can play the full game without accepting tracking or watching ads. Ad availability depends on your choices and device settings.
• Remove Ads. On launch, a recognized Remove Ads purchase skips advertising-related consent and tracking prompts and does not start Google Mobile Ads. While purchase ownership is being checked, ads stay off and gameplay remains available. Buying or restoring Remove Ads while the App is running stops further ad loads and presentations; it does not reverse processing that already occurred. The optional rewards remain available for free.

In-App Purchases

Sparkforge offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase and optional cosmetic skins. These purchases are processed and managed by Apple. We don't collect or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy

Sparkforge is a general-audience game and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App doesn't require an account and has no chat or social features. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service in the App, please contact us.

Data Retention

The App keeps local game progress, purchase-entitlement records and run statistics on your device. Deleting the App removes data from that installation. Google and Apple handle information they receive under their own retention policies, linked above. Deleting the App or buying Remove Ads does not itself delete information those services already received.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete or object to the use of your personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. For advertising choices, use the App's Settings → Privacy Choices entry when available, Apple's Tracking setting, and Google's own privacy tools. Apple's Tracking permission and regional privacy choices are separate controls. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
